I have come to the realization that body image is not about what we see in the mirror, it is based on our thoughts, feelings and perceptions. So, we go through it almost everyday, especially as a plus size woman. I would be so happy to hear about your diverse examples of body image, especially the ones you have encountered or experienced personally.

Body image extends beyond physical features to perceptions of worth as presented in society. We shouldn't allow it to ruin our lives just because we want to conform with societal standards.

Body image becomes even more complicated with comparisons going on in social media platforms. It is also possible to develop a healthier life by taking oneself away from those toxic pressures.
