When you have been restricted by your doctor due to excessive body fluids retaining in the body. Also no water before bed to avoid waking up at night causing lack of sleep. After extreme workouts that caused lots of sweat loosing electrolytes so drink sports drinks. When do you think you should not drink water?

I never heard to not drink water, but I do know drinking it before bed isn't the best.

You don't want to drink water or really anything before you go to bed. You also can't drink water usually if you have to fast for a medical procedure.

Avoid drinking water before bed or when fasting for medical procedures, as it can disrupt sleep and affect test results.
