Who has played soccer?
Re: Who has played soccer?
I was a soccer player during high school, most of the time I used to play in the midfield position. We had a good team that time and managed to get to regionals once and then lost to the first round. It was a wonderful experience though.

I went to the park and played soccer casually. I was more of a striker because that's the best wing I can play more effectively.
Re: Who has played soccer?
I took a soccer course in university. It was a lot of fun. It was the only real soccer I played because, for one thing, soccer hasn't taken off in Southern Appalachia for a long time.

Much like with rugby, I have also played soccer or football as we call it in the UK. I have only ever played for fun, though with friends and when kicking about and having fun playing football with my kids.

I've played it in gym class, but that was ages ago. I don't play it these days.

That sounds awesome! It’s great that you got to experience real soccer through the course. Soccer’s popularity varies so much by region, and it’s interesting how some places, like Southern Appalachia, haven’t embraced it as much yet. Hopefully that changesThe Jason wrote: Mon Aug 25, 2025 4:25 am I took a soccer course in university. It was a lot of fun. Soccer is a world sport, but not everywhere holds it number 1, even not the USA. For instance, basketball is more popular in China and The Philippines. Hockey is more popular in CanadaDeep wrote: Thu Aug 28, 2025 4:35 amThat sounds awesome! It’s great that you got to experience real soccer through the course.
