As a size 18 woman with a round face, I’ve been told for years to elongate with tight buns or rather use a face-framing layers. What that means is that you should hide your shape. For me, I believe that my hair should celebrate my features and not the other way round.

1). Long hair slims plus-size faces.

2). Avoid volume as it makes heads look bigger.

3). Gray hair ages plus-size women.

All these are lies. What matter is to confident in whatever we are wearing.

I believe in the hairstyle that is trending for plus size women. Curls have been rocked by many plus-size women and they look amazing. Most importantly, it's about wearing what empowers you.

I agreed to this 100%. I used to think my hair had to be a certain style for me to look slim but that's not true. Those rules are not for me any more. They are seriously dead. Whether it’s volume, bangs, or plait, whatever makes me feel good is all that matters.

I agree with this! You should feel comfortable styling your hair the way you want to and ignore others who try to tell you otherwise. Dye it your favorite color, wear it up, do whatever because it's your hair!
