What's one boundary you set to protect your mental health, and how did you do it?

One of the most difficult -and yet impactful- boundaries I tried to set is cut off time for work messages and emails. Without this, I found out that I really didn't have closing time for work. It was even difficult to enjoy off-work days like weekends. In fact the notifications from work emails and WhatsApp group are in silent mode after I close. Otherwise, my mental health will be at risk. What's is the one boundary you have set to protect your mental health?

One big boundary for me was how to say no without feeling guilty. I always used to take a lot of extra shifts, family obligations, favors for friends, all of which have drained me completely. Now I stop to ask whether I actually have energy for that before agreeing. It was really hard at first, but I find easier now.

I have had to set limits on social media. I think the continuous scrolling was affecting my moods and sleep. That can take a toll on my mental clarity.
